Description
Blanton’s Purple Label is a bourbon whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery. Colonel Albert B. Blanton, who ran the distillery for nearly fifty years, was given the distinction. This Blue Label follows in the footsteps of the original Blanton’s by undergoing distillation in-house at Buffalo Trace. It is then aged in charred white oak barrels before being bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV). The label features a purple background with gold and a purple ribbon on top of the bottle.
